You'll hit Richmond Ave and see the harsh neon glow bleeding across the wet asphalt before you even spot the front doors at 9371. The parking lot's usually packed tight with sedans idling near the curb, and there's always a knot of people smoking by the box office arguing about set times. It's loud right when you walk past the ticket scanner because the sound check is still bleeding right through the foyer drywall.

Inside, the hall's got this massive open floor plan with concrete columns blocking sightlines if you're stuck too far back near the soundboard. Bartenders pour drinks fast while heavy bass rattles the empty aluminum cans stacked high behind the counter. You won't find any fancy craft cocktails here, just tallboys and plastic cups of lukewarm draft that spill when the crowd surges forward during the opening chords.

Stage lights are bolted straight to the exposed ceiling beams, hanging low enough to bake the touring guitarists by the third song. Security guards stand leaning against the heavy metal barricade with their arms crossed, watching dusty boots kick up grit off the concrete floor while the monitors squeal.
